Youth Parliament - A Concept Introduced by YUVA BHAARATH

The system of educating the school students and College Students in how a democratic government functions is known as youth parliament. They attain the knowledge and become aware of the procedure of presenting a bill. How it is pleaded, opposed and passed in the parliament. Students play vital roles when youth parliament is organized in the school & College. They play the role of speaker, deputy speaker, ministers of different portfo­lios, prime minister and leaders of different political parties. For inaugu­ration of youth parliament some political leader is invited. Parents are also invited as spectators. Leaders of opposition sit on one side and ruling members on the other side. Several bills are presented and de­bated. There is a question hour and zero hour also. In reality its func­tioning is worth seeing.
